Quick Media Converter 3.8.0 HD Next Generation (Beta testing)  

Beta testing is now mostly completed and the final and stable version is soon to be released with only minor adjustments.

Hello to all , 

We have finally released our latest beta version of QMC 3.8.0 HD Next Generation , we need your help for testing it as it becomes a bit overwhelming to do it solely among us two .

What's new in QMC 3.8.0 HD Next Generation ?

Roughly it looks similar to the previous version QMC 3.6.5  the only obvious visible change is that we added the HD icon, when you click on it you will get a new window such as below,

As you will see, many new HD formats are now supported and that includes AVC,  warning it takes a long time to convert even with a powerful pc  and the output files are fairly big once converted.

Several previous bugs have been corrected as well, new PS3  Xbox support for L31 and L41 profiles are now included in the application .

Most of the other features remain the same but  we had to include three different versions of ffmpeg in our application in order to support most formats .

We will leave this as a beta test for about 15 days just to make sure you guys may point out to us the different bugs that may still be present despite our thorow testing and report them to us.

if you are a beginner you can download version QMC 3.6.5, Version 3.8.0 HD contains more possibilities but will not be supported until beta testing is over.

Here is a typical WMV profile in expert mode , you can modify slightly the settings to make tests and start from the using the expert mode.

You can download the profile here : wmv.xml

Install the profile in your QMC directory here : C:\Program Files\QuickMediaConverter\Profil

Change the drive letter or path if you installed QMC somewhere else.
