File name issue: "_converted" not needed

I search the forum but was unable to find a resolution to my issue.

When I convert a file, it adds "_converted" to the file name. Is there any way to do a conversion without adding this additional text to the file name?

Hello and welcome ,

No unfortunately there is no way to avoid this . This is a security measure we have decided to implement due to the fact that many users are placing the converted files in the same directory as input files , this therefore avoid the possibility to overwrite their original files and creating a crash of the application.
