output directory help

Hello my name is Jon and I am new to file conversion i have read the post by andy but I am still confused

I am running windows vista and when i try to convert a file it tells me to select a file directory for the file to be saved in and i have done this but it wont go past that point it still says the same thing every time what do i do to fix the problem

please help

Then watch carefully this video : particularly the part where the folder selection in my settings takes place ( towards the end : http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=52

If that does not help we will try to further help you ,
you can select output folder for your session it is the blue icon with a film in it ( 4 th from the top)
to open output folder where your files go it is the green folder bottom right
