Windows 7 64bit problems

Postby thomsoap » 06 Jun 2010, 20:48

I have Windows 7 64bit Professional and have installed QMC.

I have 2 problems
1). I am unable to get rid of the donation pop up box - I have un-installed and reinstalled 4.0.020 - no difference.

2). Converted files have extreme judders every few seconds. I have disabled my anti virus and tried - it doesn't make any difference.
I have checked various other things like file permissions etc.

Can you help?

Hello and welcome,

The pop up box can be removed for those who make a donation ,

The current version of ffmpeg does not support windows in 64 Bits versions .

Also it has to be said that if you try to convert recent youtube videos they are now protected by Youtube and are hard to convert .

Hope this answers your question.

Have a nice day

Dear Coccon

Then I have made a donation for software that doesn't work on my system.

Have you any plans to make it compatable with 64bit systems?

Hello,

we plan to create a true 64 bits version .
But at this stage ffmepg compil x64 crash the computer thus we want not take a risk to distribute a version to crash your computer.

Where the version is ready, we launch a beta test and we send you a email.

Have a nice day.

Hello,

after an test on a 64 bits version you can use the actual version but you must update at the latest version your Ms framework and Window 7.

This fix the compatibility with frameworks and dll's problems

Have a nice day.
