new version 4008

Postby doowopa » 13 Jan 2010, 19:06

I was using the older version with no problems and a popup came up stating I should D/L the latest version
which I did now I can't get it to work anymore.
It locks up when trying to convert AVESQ.dat files

I had just converted one with the old version

But the new version 4.0.0.8 and 4.0.0.0
lock up

So what's wrong

I'm using Vista Ultimate and windows 7

It immediatley says program not responding but I can see the CPU monitor doing something.
Also uninstalling doesn't seem to remove everthing

sorry I don't know what info you need.

It was on a VCD.

xxx converted it to XVID but. I wanted to convert it to DVD

I'm going to use xxxx to create the DVD using the XVID files

But I would rather use your program in the future

I had already converted one of the files using an older version of Quick Media so I know the files are ok.

This new version is choking on it for some reason and I couldn't get the old version back.

Thanks for quick response

Hello again,

We are currently working on win 7 edition compatibility issues in 64 bits and 32 bits as QMC is 32 bits application it could also be the cause of the problem.

There might still be a few bugs here and there associated with the new ffmpeg version we are using for HD. We are in the process of locating them .

What version did you have before ?
Also do the other conversions work ? would it be possible to get a small sample of your input file to run tests here ...

Thank you
