problems with .ts file, not converting full running time

Postby downundermm » 16 Jul 2009, 06:50

Greetings all,

Many thanks for a terrific program
I have a small issue that is driving me Crazy/Up the wall :?
I recorded a video off pay television using my Beyonwiz PVR, I recorded it through the AV input of the machine as this is the only way to do it,
the resulting files are then converted using the Beyonwiz Wizfx converter, which converts the resulting packet into a .ts file,
I can watch this .ts file all the way through for the full 2 hours and 10 minutes without any problems.
Now I would like to convert the .ts file into a DVD, I place the file onto the timeline of Q.M.C. select convert to DVD/18.PAL DVD Good Quality (16:9)
tell the program where I would like the finished files to be placed and push the start conversion button.
Problem is it only converts the first 35 min roughly of the movie, might I add converts very well.
So how do I get it to convert the entire movie, not just 35 min of it, I am running Windows Vista(yuk) and I believe I have all available codecs.
I have included for you the spec of the file under.
Any assistance you can offer would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance for a great Program and all your help.

Hello,

uninstall Qmc and restart your computer.
After you can reinstall Qmc.
Look before installation of Qmc that any other converter or codec pack do not run .

Have a nice day.

Hello thanks ,

A possible explanation to your problem could be a problem during the recording of the ts ie loss of transmission that induced a potential loss of information for the converter and this may have happened at 35 min in the recording, check to see if you do not see anything like an error around that time of your video . Otherwise there is not much we can do and as you know there is no limit in the QMC converter so the mistake may just come from your original file somehow.

Hope this helps,

Have a nice day
