Audiito bitrate, Ipod touch

Hi,

I cannot figure out how to do this. I prefer to use easy mode, since this works best for my purposes. According to apple, the maximum audio bitrate on my ipod touch is 160kbps for video files. The converted videos are 165kbps, thus after converting to h264 codec, I have to load the file in itunes and convert it again to reduce the bitrate. Is there a way to change the audio bitrate so I can do everything in QMC? I am using version 3.6.5 currently.

Hello and welcome ,

Get the technical information from the default conversion and go to expert mode , reproduce all settings and change the bitrate in the audio settings

Yes, thanks for the advice. I was trying to do this, but could not find the technical settings the program uses by default. When I select the Ipod settings in easy mode, then switch to advanced, all of the fields are blank. Do i need to select the converted video, look at the file info and write it all down, then use it for future conversions?

Place the converted file in the active worksheet , click right on it and select tech info you will see what the file contains.
