WMA to MPEG3

To convert from WMA to MP3 you can use easy mode. But you get 196K MP3. Most of us need 128K MP3.
Maybe we cano use a profile? If so, could you create for us?
Maybe you can use EXPERT. I did so, but...
I got an error on "stream #0" (I use the beta new 3.8 but...) even setting video green, mp3 and no encoding.
It makes a 0 bytes jpg in addition to the 0 bytes mp3.
I thing it is not a bug but just the ignorance of the user: could you provide help?

Hello and welcome ,

Go to expert mode place your file in the active worksheet
Activate video options (press off button to on) and then check do not encode video
Then activate audio in audio tab activate audio (press off button to on),
select mp3 codec
choose your bitrate and channels
press convert .

That should do it.

Yep! I put 128K and 44000 and got an error; I put 128K and 44100 and went FINE!
I have to remember that Freq Rate it is 22050, not 22000, and 44100, not 44000!!!
Additionally, I have to choose FORMAT (mp3) in VIDEO!

Unfortunately, I have been not able to put GENERAL INFOS (name, artist, album), event putting mp3 codec on this section; is it a bug???

Hello and thanks for your feed back ,

I will discuss with Gilles (DVPMT) about this issue as soon as he comes back from his holliday, maybe we will just modify slightly the presets in expert mode.

I will also ask him if he can verify the second part of your post about the date as I have not tried it yet he will anyway be more able to give you proper procedure about this .
