Playback Language

Postby One4REEE » 28 May 2009, 22:22

Greetings,

I recently backed up one of my favorite DVDs to my hard disk. All the .VOB files play back in English using Nero 7 and PowerDVD 6.0.

When I use the player inside QMC, all the files play back in English except one. The 4th .VOB file plays back in French!

I have tried this on both QMC 3.6.5 and 3.8.0.

Well, I decided to convert the file to .AVI anyway, using 70. DivX Free Size (720 x 480).

All the .AVI files play back in English using Windows Media 9, except the 4th .AVI file. It plays back in French.

Please help. What am I doing wrong?

Hello ,

I think the mistake you made was when you imported the vob files from you decrypter tool
You should go back to your dvd and reilmport the vob with the correct language

Hope this helps ...

Have a nice day

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm using DVD Decrypter and I selected all the .VOB files. It does all the conversion in one batch.

The same thing happens. ALL the .VOB files play back in English using Nero 7 and PowerDVD 6.0.

When I use any version of QMC, all the files play back in English except the 4th one.

I have tried selecting just the 4th file to convert. It plays back in English using Nero and PwerDVD. But when I use QMC it plays back in French.

Why would QMC select the French track only on this file?

Any other http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/paypaldonate-us.htm?

No I do not see any reason why ...

As I said earlier the best way would probably be to extract (with a software that would allow it ) only your desired language you may want to have a look at DVD FAB I think it gives you that option and they have like a 30 days trial period if I recall correctly...

Let us know .. Good Luck
