I'm trying to convert a FLV file to audio only MP3, but after I change the bitrate etc. to what I want the converted file to be, using the Expert Mode, it won't allow me to convert it, I get a pop up message always saying "First select a conversion format Thank you", but I can't select a conversion format in expert mode, only easy mode, so what am I doing wrong here?

Hello ,

Select the video to be converted and place it in the expert mode active worksheet,

In video options tab
1)Activate on off button ( must be green)
2) Select mp3 output format then check box "don't encode video".

goto
Audio options tab
1)Activate on off button ( must be green)
2) select codec mp3
3) select bitrate of your choice ie 192k
4) select frenquency rate ie 48000
5)select channel 1 if mono 2 if stereo and so on ...( 6= 5.1)

Start your conversion .

That is it .

You can do that and convert to other codecs if you wish do not forget to select output format in video options then...

Hope this helps.

Good Day
