convert audio to video?

Postby Froznic » 01 May 2011, 09:59

I've got a number of these I need to do, which is convert an mp3 with an image file linked to each mp3, and convert the two into 1 video with the image being the actual video for the length of the song. I'm fairly certain FFmpeg can do this but really don't know how to do it. Anyone have any ideas or http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/paypaldonate-us.htm to try? Any help would be awesome, been scouring the net for 3 days now trying to figure this out.

Hello,
welcome.
FFmpeg convert or mux and demux but it can't concatenate.
QMC is a GUI software to use FFmpeg and it is not an video editor.
Have a nice day.

Well, I know that but I wasn't sure if this was in it's programming. I know it's kinda odd, but ya I guess you're right about it needing to actually create the movie but I have seen a perl script I think it was that did this but maybe it used some other library to build the movie before it converted it into something else =/ It was kinda gibberish to me. Thanks for the reply though, sounds like I need to look in another direction.
