Comparison of file sizes for each type video file

I am using Quick Media Converter for the first time. It is version 4.0.0.0. I am converting a 735mb MP4 file to DivX AVI 16 to 9 format. The program has been converting for over 2hrs and 40 minutes and the resulting AVI file is thus far over 2.4 gb with no end in site. Is this normal? Is there a chart comparing the aprox. file sizes of each supported format?

Thank you to use QMC.
To keep a very good quality we use an high bitrate.

Now you can go in expert mode and take the profile for divx or xvid and play with the bitrate to diminish size of your video.
We working in easy mode with an initial bite rate of 3500k thus with a bitrate of 500k you can obtain an video size of +-450mb.
