Hello and welcome ,

I am not sure if I will be able to help you much but I am going to try my best and will ask Gilles to have a look at this post as well..

First videos
DisplayAspectRatio/String : 5:4
FrameRate/String : 29.970 fps3
Standard : PAL

Seems to me that usually Pal is 25 FPS and Ntsc is 29.970 FPS so already here we have something out of the usual ..
Also the apsect ratio and video sizes in the second options are also uncommon .

You may try to begin to place your video in the active worksheet ( take the smallest one for tests) click on the xvid icon choose in the summary choose xvid avi custom resize.

If you are not sure for the proper dimensions click Image and select the video submenu from there you can choose standard video sizes and aspects you can also change manually the W and H if you wish

If you are in the states the system is NTSC in Europe PAL or Secam usually

An alternative solution would be to go in expert mode and crop de black bands

Thanks for letting us know the outcome
Have a nice day

Hello,

thank you for supporting QMC.

You can convert your video with differents sizes but you must respect the ratio of your video size.
Now if you want apply a specific size on your video, you must crop the video to respect the ratio during the conversion.
You can go in expert mode and you can crop your video in edition tab option.

Have a nice day.

hello,

To try.
Select the aspect ration 16:9 and 720x756 for your video size that you want.
Now take the same audio (liblamepm3 - 2 channels) and video codec (XVID 29.97 fps Btr 2000k ).

So perhaps you can solve your problem.

have a nice day.

Hello and welcome again ,
Is there a step-by-step "Idiot's Guide To Resizing", explaining what every input and setting does and how adjustments affect the result?

To change the aspect ratio in easy mode :
select the conversion format on top and in the submenu select ***custom resize if available if not available go to expert mode and load a profile close enough to what you need it will preset most settings. you will in your case just have to change the sizes .

Sizes :
W width ie 320
H height ie 240

If you click on the green crossed arrows you will be able to select more standard choices in your case you should go to video submenu once the cross is pressed.

Video tutorials on our main webpage guide you through main points in using our application such as how to use profiles ..

The easiest way for us to help you is if you send us through rapidshare or megaupload one of your files so we may run tests on it and send you the proper profile you need .

Thank you for letting us know .
Have a nice day
