MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 Format

Postby cybervikash » 08 Jun 2011, 17:47

Hi Team,

I own a Sony bravia LCD TV Full HD, it plays only MPEG1 and MPEG2 format videos. Please guide me how do I covert different video file like mp4, avi etc into MPEG1 and MPEG2 format so that I can watch them with help of USB on my TV.

Thanks,
Vikash

Hello,
welcome on the forum.

You can use the DVD button to make your conversion (MPEG2).

Have a nice day.

Hello Team,

I used the DVD option as http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/paypaldonate-us.htm. I am able to get video format right, after conversion, but no sound once I play on Sony TV using USB. However, when I play on my notebook, its fine.

I also changed the audio format setting to mp2 and initiated conversion, the same thing happened again, video is good, but no sound.

Please guide...

Hello,
check the technical specifications about the codec's reading on the usb port.
Or can you give me the reference of your Sony LCD, so we can also check the codec available for this LCD screen.

Have a nice day.
