How convert MKV to DVD with the Audio Stream 2?

Postby Zenttar » 29 Jan 2009, 20:24

How do I convert a MKV, or OGM file to DVD but have it use the secondary audio stream? Also is there a way to delete one or more audio streams for videos I have in multi-languages?

Hello and welcome ,

At this stage we do not handle mutli languages selection in QMC , we are studying the possibility of doing it in future versions but for now the default language is the one chosen by ffmpeg .

Hope this answers your question ,

I am suprised to say the least. I have several other converter programs that are much more user freindly but the quality is nowhere close like ConvertXtoDVD where it converts and burns all in one process but the quality dosen't come close as i was saying. For the many people I have seen also asking similar questions of your forums I http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/paypaldonate-us.htm discovered MKVToolnix after several hours and you are able to open the MKV file and change the audio default, remove, add sub files, ect.

Hello again ,

You could probably do all that but then you would have to go to expert mode and input ffmpeg command lines .
You also forgot to mention that the program ConvertXtoDVD you mention is not free (trial version) and costs approximately 40 USD . I hope for this kind of advertising that they give you one for free

So please go ahead and pay for them if it is so wonderful, why you would even bother with our freeware .

We have not yet implemented that maybe in the future if we face more demands such as this one .We do not have that much free time as we are only two of us to maintain everything so we try to concentrate on what most our users need ..

Somehow I have the feeling that your post is slowly but surely turning into some sort of disguised spam

Hope this answers your interrogation..

Have a nice day
