AMR TO MP3 CONVERSION

Postby JoostB » 21 Aug 2008, 12:16

When i convert .AMR files to .MP3 the output contains two separate files, a MP3 file and a JPEG file with the same name. I don't want the JPEG file, i just want the MP3 file. Am i doing something wrong ?

Hello and welcome ,

No your are not doing anything wrong, this needs a bit of explaining ,

The jpg Thumnail file is destined to those users wanting to place a video on their blog or website with a thumbnail of it . We decided to do it by default saving therefore a lot of time ( you can also select at what time of the file you wish the picture to be taken) If you do not need it (obiously for mp3 it is the case ) just delete that jpeg we will try to modify this in the future for this case.

I hope I answered correctly your question

Have a good day ,

Hello and thank you for your feedback ,

We had a meeting last monday and discussed the possibility to place a 0 instead of a 5 in the next update to give you the possibility to not take a picture .

Simple thing to do but we hadn't imagined it could be a problem rather more an advantage and time saver for most.

Have a good day.
