Hello and welcome ,

You would probably need to have a 5-1 source to do such a conversion

I am pretty sure you can not transform a stereo signal into 5_1

Hope this answers your question .

Have a nice day

Hello,

go to in expert mode and then select the tab Audio.
In this tab you can find the channel option and select 6 for a 5.1 audio.
If your video is not a true 5.1 the software don't transform your audio strereo in audio 5.1.
It copy only the two channels on the five channels when is possible with the couple audio-video codec selected.

Have a nice day.

Hello,

take infos on the file and look the maps audio number.
When you have the infos on the audio, input the map number of the audio file with the following instruction in the command line in expert mode : space -map 0:3 space ( for example).

Have a nice day.
