Convert from .MOV to .wmv format

Postby Twowheeler » 28 Feb 2010, 00:25

Hello... I just downloaded and installed Quick Media Converter, due to the fact that I am having a terrible time with the audio (,MOV format) from a video that my wife had made with her Kodak Digital camera. I'm trying to clear the audio up first, where it can be understood, instead of it sounding like it has wind racing though the microphone. I was trying to join three of these clips together into one video so we can send it to other family members. But first to clear up the audio. It plays well on QuickTime Player audio included, but on Windows Media Player and other Windows Apps, the sound gets all grainy. Any Ideas?! P.S. If you need Technical IOnformation on the file I'll be glad to provide it for you.

Hello,
Thank you for supporting QMC.

We have checked your file info and the audio file is very poor quality, sorry.
It's only a one channel and 8 kHz in pcm 64kbps .

You can go in expert mode and try to upgrade in two channels and 128 kps.
You can find a profile for the wmv format in the profile list.
You can also on the website found a video on how to use the expert mode : http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=113&Itemid=52

Have a nice day.
thx for donating
