Hello, I am running Windows Vista 64-bit and using QMC Next Generation HD (I was using normal version but was also getting same error).

I am trying to convert an .MP4 file from my Flip HD camcorder to an .avi file so that I can edit it in SonyVegas, howevery everytime I begin the conversion process, I always get this error after 2-3 minutes of convertion:
"Quick Media Converter Next Generation HD has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I used to be able to use the program just fine and this problem did not start until about 3 weeks ago. I simply can't fully convert a file without the program closing, is this a known issue and are there any fixes?

Hello and welcome,

The problem may just come from that one file it might be corrupted can you send us information on the input file as well please .

Also do not forget in 64 Bits to run QMC in compatibility mode .
Do you have the latestet version installed ? if yes which one ? downloaded from our website ?
