"NDS Format" converting to MPEG vice DPG

Postby ltdcard » 26 Aug 2011, 00:14

I'm at a loss...program looks great and I'm certainly one who contributes to the cause...but I can't get the program to do what I need it to do...done several searches for DPG and haven't found much of anything.

Using Windows 7
QMC 4.5.0 (also tried 4.5.2)...

When I try to convert from AVI to DPG (using the NDS Moonshell 2.0 or later) option, it creates an MPEG vice a DPG and the DS doesn't see it. Probably something simple, but I sure can't figure it out.

Thanks,
Dan

SuperCard DSTwo, system menu 1.4

I probably just don't understand, but the "problem" (again, likely understanding) is that after the conversion, the output file is a .mpeg vice a .dpg. I've tried putting the mpegs on the SD card but the DS doesn't see 'em. Pulled a .dpg and threw it on and it saw it fine.

I dunno, just trying to throw out additional info in case its of any value. Thanks much for your responsiveness!

Hello,
Ok I check the codecs supported
Now you can convert in divx or windows media files (mpeg std) for example and make a test.
Have a nice day.
