No video after conversion

Postby micknc » 18 Aug 2011, 21:16

I am sorry if this has been asked before. I looked around, but couldn't find anything and my searches were fruitless because the words "no" and "video" are too frequent...

I am trying to convert a wmv video into a mov container. The audio come through fine, but the video is just a black frame. I have tried the quicktime and divX presets (although I would really rather have quicktime) with the same results. The video plays fine in the preview window, but won't convert.

My video info is as follows:

Specifically, I have tried the quicktime tab with a custom bitrate of 6,000. The quicktime tab with a custom video size. The DivX tab with the AVI DivX codec. All end with an audio stream, but no video.

Is there something I am missing?

Postby Cocoon-Dev » 20 Aug 2011, 07:28

hello,
thanks for information.

When you convert for test purpose, try to convert your file on the "C" disk and not on the "G" disk.

Have a nice day.
